
PADI SIDEMOUNT DIVER COURSE

The PADI Sidemount Diver specialty course is leads you to another level of diving altogether! You can take this course if you’ve completed the PADI Open Water Diver Course or any other entry level diving license or beyond. This PADI Sidemount dive course focuses on expanding your diving experience by introducing you to new scuba diving equipment using 2 tanks in a sidemount configuration. Best built into the knowledge from the Advanced Diver course as it by design a bridge into the more technical side of diving. We will take you on four exciting Sidemount Dives (1 dive confined shallow water training – 3 dives in open water within your certification level). The course generally takes 2 days although can be arranged around 3 with an extra fun dive for experience in your new sidemount gear.
Students complete the knowledge review with the aid of the Sidemount Diving manual
Students perform the skills for each of the 4 sidemount dives
Course Schedule
Day 1 – 08.00 AM: Knowledge Review and Equipment Configuration Followed by Confined Water Dive 1
Day 2 – 08.00 AM: Open water Dives 1,2 and 3
Optional 3 Days – if you have time ask about this option where by we extend the 3rd training dive to day 3 and add on 1 fun dive with it in the afternoon for the charge of a normal day trip
There are no long video sessions just KD and equipment configurations
Includes: Training Material, Full dive equipment, Tea, coffee and water, Lunch and fruit, PADI instructor, PADI certificate
Sidemount dives are conducted at the Pattaya and Samae San Islands
(Part 1): TheoryStudents are required to answer the questions in each knowledge review with the use of the sidemount Diving Manual and get introduce to new equipment
(Part 2): Open Water Dives There are 3 open water training dives in an PADI Sidemount Diver course.

Diver must meet the follow Prerequisites to take this course:
Must be over the age of 15 years
Must be healthy to dive
Must be a certified minimum open water diver
Book as far in advanced as possible before the trip date in order to complete eLearning (if available) or book work. Booking registration students are required to CHECK the PADI Medical Statement to make sure you are dive ready
A deposit will reserve spaces for this course
Final payment can be made before or on the start date.
